Does It Make You Evil?

 

    Lady's and gentlemen, can someone please tell me how the hell heavy metal makes you evil? I had a elderly lady stop me as I was walking into the store the other day and told me that I was listening to the devils music. She had heard me playing the song "Immaculate Misconception" by Motionless In White. A song all about excepting others, but the band mixes a bit of scream with heavy metal. and suddenly I'm listening to the devils music? Someone please explain this to me. If heavy metal is the devils music prove it. Is it because your religion said so. I'm not bashing on anybody's religion but are you fucking kidding me? That's like saying if your religious leader came out and said that if you spent one more dollar at your favorite restaurant you where going to be damned for all eternity. If they said to jump off a bridge, would you do it?. People all these things are things that you need to judge for yourself. Don't let someone else tell you what to think or how to feel. If you really want to know what the meaning behind the song is, look it up online. We have invented this wonderful tool called the internet, use it. Most people that have heard me listening to heavy metal or screamo in where you cant understand what the singer is saying will ask me how I can stand it. To all who think this way, if you are listening to music like this and are trying to understand what they are saying, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are listening to that kind of music you should be listening to how everything goes together. How the flow off the song goes. The drums and the bass as well as the lead guitar. If you want to know what's being said look up the lyrics. I cant stand people who judge others because of the music they listen to.
